Hello –
I wanted to pass along a community opportunity & ask for your help sharing it widely.
The Alaska ACLU will be in town next week with a couple different trainings geared towards immigrant safety & bystander intervention. We’re hosting one evening session, at the Bread Line, that will teach us how to help families fill out the ACLU’s Immigration Family Safety Plan. It’s open to anyone who wants to learn, so you or your staff, volunteers, or whoever wants to be this kind of helper wants to come, please do – we’ll have coffee & snacks!
Family Safety Planning Training
Tuesday 2/24 from 6:30-7:30 @ the Bread Line, 507 Gaffney Rd.
A short “train the trainers” session on how to help folks fill out the ACLU’s Immigration Family Safety Plan. In person & online options available. No registration for in-person, but participants must register online to receive Zoom access &/or the training recording.
Please see the attached flyer’s scannable QR registration code (for online access only) & let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks so much for all you do for Fairbanks,
-Hannah C. Hill
