Monthly Potluck Friday January 27

Potluck at 6:00, Program at 7:00

Our monthly potluck and discussion meeting will be Friday, January 27 at the Alaska Peace Center office.  We will view the movie “A Force More Powerful, part II”,  at the Alaska Peace Center office.   This well-made documentary delves into cases of nonviolent resistance winning against violence.  Part 2 shows the role of such resistance in Denmark, Poland, and Chile.  Truly inspiring! The Potluck starts at 6:00, program starts at 7:00. The Alaska Peace Center is upstairs (Suite 203) in the College Mall building, 3535 College Road, across the parking lot from Gulliver’s Books.  The stairs are at the west end of the building, adjacent to and sharing a common entrance with the Fuji Steakhouse.
